Discover how these creatures dwell so comfortably underground and why they are dubbed “hogs”. Hear the historic reasons as to why they can detect future weather patterns. Try to guess what our visiting groundhog will say about the next 6 weeks as we step outside to see if his shadow is visible. Listen to some folk music concerning these lovable herbivores and even pet our live groundhog.

Park Ridge Medical Associate doctors will be on hand to discuss CV health Choices, results of screening test and answer questions related to CV women's issues. A Nutritionist will be available to discuss eating choices for families and women for better CV health.

Description:
Librarians are practicing animal noises and silly songs in preparation for the 21st anniversary production of “Preschoolers We Love You!” This popular kids’ show began as a special valentine to the library’s under-five set and now regularly draws over 1,000 children for the multiple performances. The program is a musical revue especially for preschoolers, with puppets, dancing and other lighthearted nonsense.
The talented performers are drawn from library staff across the county. The dates for the performances are February 14, 15 & 16 with shows at 9:30am and 10:45am.
Groups are welcome, but must pre-register by calling 250-4720 before February 1. If you miss the show in person, the production will also be televised on the Buncombe County television channel, BCTV. Check www.buncombecounty.org for listings.
