Cost: The fee for the Curiosity Club is $4.00 per child for each program. Accompanying adults are
admitted to the Cradle of Forestry for half the normal fee ($2.50). There is no charge for adults with season passes to the Cradle of Forestry.

Bring your beautiful and talented pet reptile(s) to the WNC Nature Center for our annual Beauty Pageant being held Saturday July 15th. We have expanded our catagories to include all reptiles (non-venomous, please). All reptiles will compete for the Silver Scale Award, where owners stand before the audience and state why their reptile should be "crowned" the Best Reptile in the show. Festivities include reptile and amphibian exhibits, a wildlife rehabilitation program (at 2:00pm), along with herpetological presentations, arts/crafts, games, and of course, the Reptile Beauty Pageant at 3:00pm to conclude the day.

 Before the dog days of summer are upon us bring your four-legged best friend out for a day in the park. The Obedience Club of Asheville will be hosting a free series at Fletcher Community Park dealing with responsible pet ownership and ways build a strong relationship with your dog.
